The Eagles are SOARing high!!!! A Note From Mr. Witherspoon: I hope that each of you had a chance to get outside and enjoy some of the wonderful Michigan weather this weekend! This week it looks as though Fall will be returning and, as much I like the different events that the season has to offer, I really like the warmer weather. Last night, the Livonia Public Schools Board of Education approved a Return to Learn Plan that was presented to them last week by Superintendent Andrea Oquist and her Cabinet members. The plan is to begin welcoming students back into the building on October 5, 2020. The reentry plan is a gradual addition of one grade level per day as the week progresses: Monday, October 5 Kindergarten will begin in person learning 1st - 4th Grade will continue to learn remotely Tuesday, October 6 Kindergarten will continue in-person learning 1st Grade will begin in-person learning 2nd - 4th Grade will continue to learn remotely Wednesday, October 7 Kindergar

The Eagles are SOARing high!!!! A Note From Mr. Witherspoon: The virtual learning world is alive and well here at Cleveland! Together, we are creating opportunities for our Eagles to take flight and SOAR through the school year! I will keep my comments brief (you're welcome) as there are some items that I want to make sure that you have the information for. The students, grades 1-4, will be asked to take a Reading and Math Diagnostic test beginning on Wednesday, September 23 as a part of their asynchronous learning. This assessment will allow us to prepare our students for an individualized learning experience for this school year. Please, though it is always difficult to what your child struggle (equally for teachers), allow them to answer the questions on their own. You can assist with reading the questions and the choices at first, but allow them to choose the answer. The lessons that I-Ready selects for your child will reflect how they do on the assessment; so,

The Eagles are SOARing high!!!! A Note From Mr. Witherspoon: What an awesome week! The excitement and engagement that we have seen come from each one of the classrooms is amazing! Once again, thank you to all the parents/guardians, grandparents, and caregivers for creating a learning spaces that maximize learning efficiency. We maintained a 92.7% success rate in attendance this week and together we can make that closer to 100% next week. The teachers and staff have some extraordinary things planned next week that will continue to engage the kiddos as we form a solid foundation in our learning community. Remember that the students will have asynchronous activities planned during a school day that will need to be completed. These are activities that will take place without a live stream from the classroom. These activities will be so very important for your child(ren) to complete these activities as they are planned to support the learning that takes place during synchro
