Rise and Shine Eagles!!!!
The first day of school is September 8, 2020!!!!
This is a perfect time to prepare your children for an exciting start of this school year! Routines will be an important part to your child's success this school year. Please make sure that they are up, dressed, fed, and ready to go for school at 9 am on Tuesday.
Don't forget to take those famous "First Day of School" photos!!!
A Note From Mr. Witherspoon:
The excitement is in the air as the staff has joined Mrs. Shovely and me in the building this week! This week is packed with learning and preparation for our journey that will begin next week! This journey is going to much different than anything we have experienced in the past and, though we won't be "in-person" on the first day of school, the excitement of beginning a new school year exists in all of us. This school year, much like climbing a mountain, is going to create opportunities that will challenge us and, if we maintain our partnership and keep our Eagles in mind, we will get over any obstacles that we are faced with. The excitement in climbing this mountain will be in these experiences and not in reaching the apex.
I would like to take a moment to welcome some new staff members to our wonderful community and already incredible staff! I am beyond excited to introduce the following very talented educators (and great people) to our staff:
Ms. Lindsay Richardson - Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Linde Guenther - Second Grade Teacher
Mr. Casey Bone - Fourth Grade Teacher
Mr. Kevin Stafford - Elementary Support Teacher
Ms. Lisa Werner - Art teacher
Mr. Patrick Daugherty - Physical Education Teacher
Stay healthy and, as always, Keep SOARing Eagles!!!
Please, as always, give me a call or email if you have any questions/concerns/compliments regarding Cleveland!!!!
Stay Awesome and Keep SOARing Eagles!!!!
Be on the Look out for this week:

"What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from." - T.S. Eliot COVID-19 Screening Tool for Families Cleveland Ready for School Checklist A Note From Mr. Witherspoon: The last week of the school year, believe it or not, is upon us and we should be proud of all the hard work we all put in to allow our students to soar above the storm. The resilience that we have shown as a community has provided our students with examples of how to weather any storm that they may be confronted with. Thank you again for all you have done this year to support your children (and us) as our school year has been beyond successful! Summertime does signify that the end of the school year has come; however, it also is a time that is a new beginning. This is a great time for us all to plan for our students to have a successful school year...
COVID-19 Screening Tool for Families Cleveland Ready for School Checklist A Note From Mr. Witherspoon: Springtime is here (fingers crossed) and it's great to see all of our hard work paying off as the students are into their routines and growth is happening! This spring has a little more meaning as it is now a time for us to reflect on the past year and prepare ourselves to see the benefit of the hard work that has been put in since COVID rocked our world. The one thing that I was certain of, at that time, is that our community was strong and together we were going to rise above the storm. A year later, though our work will never be done, we have worked hard to see our Eagles begin to flourish in the classroom. Thank you to our entire community for all that you have done, and continue to do, to ensure that each child continued to soar during this time! We are very excited to announce that the students of Livonia Public Schools will have the opportuni...
