The Eagles are SOARing higher!!!!
A Note From Mr. Witherspoon:
I am hoping that you have been able to take advantage of the incredible weather outside that we have had lately! Several classrooms have taken advantage of the nice weather as they moved their learning to outdoors! This may be difficult for Livonia Virtual Students to do for their live instruction; however, don't hesitate to find a space outside that they could work. The fresh air is good for everyone!
Livonia Public Schools has sent out two communications regarding those families that would like to change their current learning placement (ie. Face-2-Face vs. Livonia Virtual). There is no need to complete this form if you want to stay with the current classroom/teacher/style of instruction that your child has now; only complete the form if you want to change placement. There are some very important details that come with changing, so please read the form carefully as you fill it out.
The end of the Trimester is rapidly approaching and, soon thereafter, we will be holding parent-teacher conferences. The parent teacher partnership is one that is vital to the success of students and is the best way to maximize the learning potential of each student. Please don't feel that you have to wait until conferences to contact your child's teacher to find out their strengths and areas in which they need improvement.
Lastly, please continue to encourage your children to read and talk to them about what they have read. The time that you have put in so far is paying off and will continue to help them achieve success in the classroom and beyond.
Please don't hesitate to call or email if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
Have a great week and Keep SOARing Eagles!

Crossing guards are often the first people that children see (outside of their family members) and, more often, the person that puts a smile on their face that lasts throughout the day! Please give Officer Rebant, Livonia Police Traffic Bureau, a call at 734-466-2683, if you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity or recommend to someone that would be. |
